More details leaked for first HEAT: Pedal to the Metal expansion: Torrential Rain

More details leaked for first HEAT: Pedal to the Metal expansion: Torrential Rain More details about a new expansion for the very popular racing board game Heat: Pedal to the Metal have leaked a few days ago when a Spanish retailer put a listing online. This means we have new details about what will be included. Strap in, rain is coming!

In Spanish, the new expansion will have the name Heat: Lluvia Torrencial, which translates to Heavy Rain. It will include two new circuits on a double-sided board. On one side a new number-eight track in rainy Japan, on the other side a Mexican Grand Prix track with a lot of corners and chicanes!

Both of these tracks have a new type of hazard: standing water and puddles that appear in the corners and make braking much harder. shifting gears in these sections will cost you more heat, so you better be in a lower gear before entering these bends!

Other than this, the expansion will also come with more event cards, components for a seventh racer, and new speed cards.

The listing for the expansion has since been taken down, but it seems the expansion is due February 2024.
