Assassin's Creed is a video game by the publisher Ubisoft in which you are an assassin who eliminates historical characters to save families or entire cities. This week, Triton Noir has started a new Kickstarter campaign for a new cooperative miniatures board game based on this computer game. Work together with your fellow players across several games to upgrade your assassins headquarters, extend it with more followers and protect it against the templar invasions. Welcome in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice.

The game takes place between the events of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, and tasks you with leading the assassin's brotherhood. The game contains several different scenarios that all together form a larget campaign that can easily take over twenty hours of gameplay. At the start of every scenario, you have to open a sealed envelope containing new events and cards that will change the game and influence the possibilities for the brotherhood. The campaign book now contains the goals you and your friends have to complete to win this scenario!

Every player plays as one or more assassins. As an assassin, you have to play as stealthy as possible, nobody can ever know you have been at the location. So you have to sneak over the map and avoid guards or take out the guards and hide their bodies. On your adventure, you might also find useful items or equipment that can help you, such as smoke bombs and medicines. Just like the video game you can synchronize towers to reveal these hidden items and other secrets on the map.

The game is currently only available through Kickstarter for a price of 158 Canadian dollars or about €105. When you choose to back this game, you will have to wait a little while before you will be able to play as the game will be released in June 2020.
