A lot of fun games on Kickstarter in March 2018

Last January, we made a news post about the first board games that have been appearing on Kickstarter. But this month there are really a lot of fun looking games that have started their campaign. Because of this, we have created a small list of the amazing looking games that we backed this month.

[Chronicles of Crime](https://www.tabletopfinder.eu/es/boardgame/9694/cronicas-del-crimen) is a new take on the system that is being used by escape room games. In this game, you and the other players are working together as detectives that have to solve a murder case. The game exists out of many cards that depict objects, persons and locations. Each of these cards has a unique QR code that can be scanned with your smartphone. This is the heart of the game, an app that will give you more information in the current context about the cards you just scanned. With this app, you can also look around at different locations to search for clues like you were there. You can also interrogate people. But don't waste too much time because other crimes might happen while you are investigating! Be sure to take a look at the Kickstarter page of the game for more information.

[Palm Island](https://www.tabletopfinder.eu/es/boardgame/9904/palm-island) is a card game that is very useful when you have to kill time somewhere. The game is compact and made to be played solo. But, if you have two or more decks the game can be played with more players. In this small game, you try to build your island as good as possible in three rounds. For every card, you have to make a decision if you will upgrade the building or use the card as resources to upgrade future cards. You cannot go back in the deck so you have to think carefully what cards you upgrade and remember the order of the cards. After going through the last round, you count the number of stars on the cards to find your score. The game is only available for a few days so make sure you find out more on their Kickstarter campaign page.

This is a new worker-placement game with the name [Robin Hood and the Merry Men](https://www.tabletopfinder.eu/es/boardgame/9847/robin-hood-y-sus-alegres-companeros) that takes place in the world with the same name. The game is semi-cooperative, which means that everyone plays for themselves, but it is possible that everyone loses the game. Every player takes the role of a leader and a group of "Merry Men", and tries to confront the troops of Prince John and the Sherrif of Nottingham. The player that has been helping the best will be the winner of the game. However, if the Sherrif manages to take over one of the camps outside the city, everyone loses the game. You will have to make hard choices between scoring more points or helping the group. More information about the game is available on the Kickstarter page.

[Dice Settlers](https://www.tabletopfinder.eu/es/boardgame/9903/dados-y-colonos) is the first 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate) game that uses dice bag building. Every player starts with a single settlement on one of the starting tiles and everyone has a bag of the same dice. Throughout the game, you have to explore the world and exploit its resources. This is done by blindly taking a number of dice from your bag and throw these on the table. These dice now depict your possible actions this round. You can also combine dice to make even more powerful actions, but this will result in fewer actions. While playing, it is also possible to buy new and better dice that can be added to your bag. At the end of the game, the player with the most points is the winner. This Kickstarter campaign has been running for a while now but is most certainly worth the visit.

These are our favorite Kickstarter campaigns for the start of this month. Hopefully, we were able to help you find some new and amazing games. Be sure to let us know if we forgot any games!
